Newsom's Reputation Continues to Crumble
Gavin Newsom's Reputation Facelift: A Crumbling Political Career
As more proof that California Governor Gavin Newsom lacks morals, ethics or even the basic ability to lead the state as its chief executive, he’s now embracing policy positions Republicans have begged him to adopt.
The Problem with Newsom's Leadership Style
Gavin Newsom has been governor since January 2019 – six years – and even mainstream media is taking notice. Not even cosmetic restorative surgery or a liquid facelift with injectable dermal fillers will improve the visual signs of his crumbling political career.
- Chronic budget deficits and reckless spending
- Covid corruption, homeless malfeasance, and more

And a reputation facelift cannot fix the underlying issues.
Some of Newsom's Notable Blunders and Decisions
Gov. Gavin Newsom has made his fair share of questionable decisions, including:
- Increasing gas prices in California due to policies and regulations
- Lying about fuel breaks and prescribed burns (claiming 35 priority projects totaling 90,000 acres were treated when only 11,399 acres had been treated)
- Flipping on his promise to kill High Speed Rail saying, “there simply isn’t a path to get from Sacramento to San Diego, let alone from San Francisco to LA?”
- Allowing one odd segment of the rail project to be built in the Central Valley
- Ordering all of California locked down for the Covid flu leaving hundreds of thousands of Californians unemployed
- Enabling $33 billion in unemployment fraud through the Employment Development Department
- Attending a swanky dinner at the French Laundry while locked down and partying maskless in an NFL Luxury Suite during the coronavirus surge
This is not an exhaustive list, but it gives you an idea of some of the notable blunders and decisions made by Gov. Gavin Newsom.
