SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the “‘‘Medical Research for4
Our Troops Act’’.
SECTION 2. RESTORATION OF AMOUNTS FOR DEFENSE HEALTH1
Agency research, development, test, and evaluation.
(a) IN GENERAL.—Section 1407(1) of the Full-Year4
Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 20255
(Public Law 119–4) is amended—6
(1) by striking ‘‘$40,395,072,000’’ and insert-7
ing ‘‘$41,576,684,000’’; and8
(2) by striking the 23rd comma and all that fol-9
lows through the period at the end and inserting a10
period.
(b) EFFECTIVE DATE.—The amendments made by12
subsection (a) shall take effect as if included in the enact-13
ment of the Full-Year Continuing Appropriations and Ex-14
tensions Act, 2025 (Public Law 119–4).
(c) CONGRESSIONALLY DIRECTED MEDICAL RE -16
SEARCH PROGRAMS.—The funds made available for Con-17
gressionally Directed Medical Research Programs pursu-18
ant to section 1407(1) of the Full-Year Continuing Appro-19
priations and Extensions Act, 2025 (Public Law 119–4),20
as amended by subsection (a), shall be implemented in lev-21
els and in a manner consistent with the Consolidated Ap-22
propriations Act, 2024 (Public Law 118–47). The Sec-23
