The Stephen G. Breyer Community Learning Center: A New Hub for Civics Education
Located in Boston, Massachusetts, the Stephen G. Breyer Community Learning Center on Courts and the Constitution officially opened its doors on March 25, 2025. This innovative facility offers a wide range of civics education activities designed to engage learners of all ages and backgrounds throughout the First Circuit.
About the Center
The center is named after the late Associate Justice Stephen G. Breyer, who was a strong advocate for civic education and community engagement. The facility is dedicated to providing accessible and inclusive learning opportunities that foster a deeper understanding of the U.S. judicial system and its role in shaping American democracy.
