Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth recently announced a pay raise for Army paratroopers during remarks to current and former members of the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, N.C.

“We are proud to announce that Army paratroopers will be receiving a well-deserved pay raise,” said Secretary Hegseth. “These brave men and women put their lives on the line every day to protect our nation, and we want to show our appreciation for their service.”
According to Defense.gov, the pay raise is part of an effort to recognize and reward the hard work and dedication of Army paratroopers.
The announcement was made at a special ceremony at Fort Bragg, where current and former members of the 82nd Airborne Division gathered to hear from Secretary Hegseth.
